Ryker is a 21 inch, fawn brindle and white male whelped March 4/09, sired by multiple group placing Cdn Ch Avalonia Bondi at Touchstone out of Cdn Ch Avalonia Trixie Smith. Ryker has curves in all the right places, giving him a beautiful outline with excellent movement, and a gorgeous headpiece. To finish the package, he has the laid back, easy going temperament that makes him a wonderful companion. Ryker is the clown of the household and delights in making us laugh.

Ryker entered in his first show (Cornwall Kennel Club) the day he turned 6 months old (just like dad, Cdn Ch Avalonia Bondi At Touchstone). Ryker was first chosen Best Puppy In Breed and then went on to Best Puppy In Group. A good start to what we hope is a promising show career!

Since Ryker had only been entered in one show, at 8 months of age we decided to enter him at the Ottawa Kennel Club shows to give him some experience in preparation for next year. He did not disappoint us. Like his mother, Ch Avalonia Trixie Smith, Ryker got his first points at this show. He was Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex all three days for his first three points. Ryker will now stay home to mature in preparation for next year's show season.

Ryker attended the Nickel District Kennel Club shows in March /10, at 12 months of age, in preparation for some summer shows. Two of the days he was Winners Dog and Best Of Opposite Sex, and the third day he was Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex.

July 20/10 - Ryker is now Cdn Ch Touchstone Surprise Surprise! He finished the requirements for his championship (with points to spare) at the Valley Kennel Club shows placing Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex. Ryker is the first champion for both his sire, Cdn Ch Avalonia Bondi At Touchstone and his dam Cdn Ch Avalonia Trixie Smith out of their first litter. What we find quite a coincidence is that Ryker got his first points at the Ottawa Kennel Club shows as a junior puppy, where Riley previously got her first points as a junior puppy. Ryker then finished his championship on Tuesday at Valley the same day and show where Riley finished her championship the previous year (2009).
